Looking for a Freelance Accountant for a Fintech Startup
We are a midsized Fintech startup company currently in the relaunch phase. As we are still in prelaunch stage, we cannot fully reveal the brand and name of the company. However, we can reveal our startup idea and what we are trying to achieve.
We are a Fintech Startup company focused on empowering women entrepreneurs. We are building systems which would enable short term lending for micro and small women entrepreneurs at an interest rate or commission fee that would be affordable to such entrepreneurs.
The objective is to encourage them to continue to thrive in the situations wherein they have a cash crunch due to bad business days. As such entrepreneurs operate at such low scale, it is given that they do not completely understand the seasonality and adverse impacts of externalities. Hence, they might be easily discouraged to give up at an early stage and we want to ensure that most of them will finally make it and we grow along with them.
As we are a Fintech startup, we need a couple of Freelance Accountants who can work on freelance basis and help us shape our product and processes. An ideal accountant will :
- Have at least 3 years of experience
- Previous experience in Banking industry is preferred
- Should be well versed with RBI guidelines around lending, interest rates and commission fees
- Should be moderately tech savvy and can easily work with several accounting applications
The final candidate who will join the team will work on part time basis and will be compensated either in cash or in equity or a combination of both.
We are based in Bengaluru and we are looking for someone who is also based in Bengaluru or can travel to Bengaluru for a couple of days once every 2 weeks.
